I care about flows that make sense — to users and to the business. I work within design thinking frameworks like the double diamond, but I try not to follow process for its own sake. Most of the time the answer is somewhere between the sticky notes and the data.

I combine interviews, ethnographic observation, and methods like Wizard of Oz testing to get past surface-level answers. I'm most interested in the gap between what people say and what they actually do — that's usually where the useful insight is.

Working across cultural contexts taught me that assumptions about "intuitive" don't travel well. I pay attention to how layout, interaction patterns, and trust signals shift between markets — and try to design for that, not around it.

Trained by Nielsen Norman Group, with experience across academic and industry projects. I focus on the full journey — especially the handoffs and in-between moments that tend to get overlooked.

I use AI in my process — mostly for synthesis and exploring directions quickly. I'm also interested in the design challenges AI-powered products introduce: how do you build a consistent experience around something that behaves unpredictably?
